Impact Mackinnon has steadily improved his game in each of his three seasons of college ball. After two years at Elon, the guard transferred to Portland for the 2024-2025 campaign and averaged 14.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists on 47/41/89 shooting splits. That clearly attracted the attention of high-major programs, but Mackinnon picks LSU here for his senior season.

Impact Mackinnon spent two seasons at Elon where he was a 11+ PPG scorer. He then came to Portland for the 2024-25 campaign that saw him put up 14.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest. Mackinnon also shot over 40 percent from behind the arc. There will be plenty of interested power conference teams looking taking a look at this 6-6 playmaking guard.

Impact Mackinnon represents one of the highest-usage players in the portal at this time, as the sophomore average 12.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists while connecting on 45.0 percent of 10.3 shots across 32 starts for Elon last year. The 6-foot-5 Brisbane native is a candidate to catch on with a power conference, although he also could opt for a larger role at a mid-major institution.
