Impact Manoah was away from the Blue Jays for four days while tending to the personal matter, but because his last start came Tuesday and the team has had an off day since then, he didn't miss a turn through the rotation. The rookie right-hander is on track to start Monday's series opener versus the White Sox, and he'll line up for his second turn of the week Aug. 28 in Detroit.

Impact Per MLB rules, a player must remain on the bereavement list for 3-to-7 days, but it's unclear if Manoah will require more than the minimum amount of time away from the team to tend to the personal matter. If Manoah rejoins Toronto by the start of next week, he would remain on track to make his next start Monday against the White Sox. After posting a 1.53 ERA over a stretch of six consecutive starts, Manoah faltered in Tuesday's 12-6 loss to the Nationals, serving up seven runs (six earned) on six hits and one walk while working a career-low three innings.
