Impact Lienhart was back fit throughout the season and played a huge role in the backline. The defender was a major part of the starting XI throughout. Lienhart is the top choice in the defense whenever he's fit and should hold onto a starting role for the foreseeable future.

He will hope to get fit and get back to a big role next season as one of the top choice attacking midfielders.

Impact Eggestein's fourth season with Freiburg was exactly what we've come to expect of the midfielder. He was a rock-solid option in holding midfield and flirted with 3,000 minutes once more. He remains a major part of the starting XI and is showing no signs of slowing down for the foreseeable future.

Impact Manzambi was handled tentatively by Freiburg, but in his limited minutes he showed some encouraging signs, including two goals and an assist. The midfielder should be able to play his way into a larger role in the coming season, especially if he puts together a strong pre-season.

Impact Makengo failed to really take a step forward and earn a larger role in the Freiburg back line. He will likely remain limited in the coming campaign.

Impact Holer's role dwindled somewhat this season, though his return was still relatively efficient. The striker remains a consistent part of the first team, though he doesn't always get the minutes to back that up. Holer did reach 10 goal contributions for the first time since 2019, though his role remains mixed.

Vincenzo Grifo - Brilliant again Grifo scored eight times and added 11 assists in 34 Bundesliga appearances (31 starts.)

Impact Grifo has been the most important part of the Freiburg attack across the last handful of seasons and that didn't change this season. The winger was brilliant throughout the campaign and turned in one of the best seasons of his career. Grifo will remain an absolutely elite option as long as he remains on the Freiburg front line.

Junior Adamu - Career-best return Adamu scored twice and added two assists during 25 appearances (19 starts) in the Bundesliga.

Impact Adamu's second season in Freiburg was a success, but he still failed to really step into the starting striker role. He earned more minutes this season, but failed to really make the most of them. Adamu will likely remain in a depth role next season unless he can convert more frequently on his chances.

Impact Dinkci's season was limited by injuries, he joined Freiburg after a brilliant campaign with Heidenheim where he scored 10 and assisted four more goals. Injuries and poor form limited Dinkci's minutes and held him without a goal. If he can get fit the hope will be that he's ready for a large role next season.

He began his professional career with Shimizu S-Pulse, later played for Strasbourg, and tallied 23 goals and 15 assists in 69 matches with Brondby. He made his debut for the Japan senior national team in June 2024 and will now discover the Bundesliga.
